July Flower Power

Flowers of the Month

For this months flower of the month I am going to be a bit biased! The florist that I had for my wedding flowers over 11 years ago –  Cindy Kirkland. Such an astonishing lady with such style.  Creative Works  have been in business for 2001 and then have recently diversified into gardening as well.

When I read about her last floral project I was so excited.  Topiary for Glasto 2016! The hedges have been styled to look like three of the most iconic landmarks at Worthy Farm, including the Park Tower, Arcadia Spider and, of course, the famous Pyramid Stage. This was a mobile phone company for the biggest 4G network hotspots at any event.

EMBARGOED TO 0001 MONDAY JUNE 20 EDITORIAL USE ONLY EE's latest 4G WiFi hotspots, created using hand-crafted topiary to look like L-R Glastonbury’s Park Tower, Pyramid Stage and Arcadia Spider are unveiled at Worthy Farm in Somerset in preparation for Glastonbury Festival. PRESS ASSOCIATION Photo. Issue date: Monday June 20, 2016. The ‘4GEE hedgeliners’, have been created by horticultural artists Agrumi in three different designs, The Pyramid Stage, The Park Tower and the Arcadia Spider, inspired by the landmarks most shared on social media during last year’s festival. The 4G WiFi hotspots are powered by EE’s superfast network that has tripled in capacity for 2016 to cope with the demand for mobile connectivity as it is predicted festival-goers will use a whopping 15 terabytes of data sharing their festival photos and videos. Anyway back to weddings and the purpose of this post! Creative works have turned one of my favourite things in the world into handbags! How great are they? I’m not sure if I would want the pink one or the white one – I’ll just have both please!
