The 25th July is the start of a 3 day celebration in Cuba known as the National Revolutionary Festival. Ever thought about getting married in Cuba? or how about bringing some of Cuba here?
If you are lucky enough to go to Cuba, have a wander through Old Havana, drink a Mojito (in the place that it was invented) to calm your nerves, smoke a Cuban cigar, enjoy the crystal blue waters of Varadero Beach, feast on delicious street food and see (and dance) to live music everywhere.
How about a few Cuban touches to a wedding closer to home? Add personalised labels to a Cuban cigar (any cigar really) as an adults only favour. Have a Cuba Libre as your signature drink, use bright bright colours, have a Cuban coffee bar, use little Cuban flags for name cards, maybe have some pictures of Cuba framed and use those as table numbers. Eat classic Cuban food – roast pork, rice, beans and fried bananas, play Cuban music and dance the night away.
